'FOODIE' EXHIBIT SET TO TANTALISE DESIGNED to tantalise even the most discerning of taste buds, the food and wine exhibit is new to the Nyngan Ag Expo this year. Organisers promise the event will give lovers of gourmet foods and fine wines an excellent opportunity to sample the best locally-grown products within a relaxed al fresco dining atmosphere. According to ag expo committee member, Kim Stokes, the launch of the food and wine exhibit has everybody excited. "We are looking forward to seeing top producers of gourmet products from this district and its surrounds on the day," she said. "The 2007 Country Energy Nyngan Ag Expo will provide a wonderful opportunity for businesses to introduce their products to new markets, and possibly to develop avenues to further marketing and growth. "We are very thankful to the NSW Department of Primary Industries for sponsoring the Food and Wine event. "With it's assistance we hope to secure the interest of even more existing, new and hobby enterprises who would like the chance to promote their products. "This will be a first in our local district and we can't wait to present this concept to our community." Ms Stokes said country music performer, Royden Donohue, had been confirmed to provide the entertainment. "Royden is renowned for his award-winning rock 'n' country music and his latest CD will be available for sale at the Expo," she said. |
